When we got up this morning we had a full day planned. Our first stop was Caernarfon Castle, The castle was huge we walked the whole thing and we were even able to climb to the tops of the towers where we could see the whole town from. Another cool thing that we found out about the castle was this was the place where Prince Charles was dub Prince of Whales. They had a whole room dictated to his coronation. After our visit to the castle we walked around town and go back on the buss to head to Portmeirion Village.

Portmeirion Village was the lamest place ever. We were so hungry we ran to the first place we could find the food. The food was bland and had no seasoning at all but at least it was food and filled us up. We sat around and waited for the buss so we could go to the coal mine. We were all so excited about going to the mine so we could not wait to get there. We all pictured us riding in mine carts that we got to steer and wearing cool hard hats, but the only thing we got to do was wear the cool heard had. But it was still really cool. We all put on our hats and got into this mine cart (that was completely enclosed) and made our way down to the mineshaft. It was really cold and wet in the mine. A mine man met us down there and told us to follow the numbers and a narrator would tell us the story. So we trucked through the mine and listen to the creepy story and took tons of pictures in our hardhats because it was the coolest thing ever.

After our tour we went to town and got food before heading back to the hotel to call it a night. Tomorrow we would have another busy day.
