MAY 21, 2009

After lunch today a bunch of us decided to bike to Bevier Castle the whole 9 miles omg. Well to start off our adventure we went to rent the bikes and no one could find the shed when we finally found the shed where the bikes were the bikes where made for giants. They were old and worn out and the seats were so high that it was hard for us to get on them. Everyone grab a bike that worked poor Courtney had a mini bike going on that was way to small for her. Once everyone was stuck with there bike we started off I realized right off the bat that I could not stop m bike because if I did then I would not be able to get back on since it was such a challenge the first time. So we kept going and make it to Gregory’s we waited for the rest of the group but they were no where in sight Jeff went back to look for them but they were go so he told us that they probably went back so Jeff, Dani, Meg, Bivens and myself went on with the journey. We biked for ever we got snagged by some bush that made our skin turn red because of the thorns, it started to drizzle and there where so huge hills that we had to get over. I was feeling the burn with this bike ride.

The whole ride I was so scared I was going to fall off and when I had to get off my bike it took me at least ten try’s to get back on. After that monster of a hill we were almost there when Bivens found some horses we all stopped and the girls took their pictures with them. The white one took a liking to me and tried to kiss lick I don’t know what to my face, I backed away real quickly from that one. But we got some really cute pictures with them. After the horses went back to eating we made our way to the castle it was fun to see, We did not go in because it was nine pounds so we made our way back this time we got to go down a lot of the hills we had to climb up the first time so the boys loved that. Thank gosh they did not kill themselves they were going really fast. Bivens even tried to scare me as he went down by getting close to me and ringing his bell. But even on the way back we had to climb that monster of a hill there is one big hill either way. But we defiantly got our exercise for the day. We made it back home with all of our limbs intact no one died and the bikes were fine. When we returned the key the lady asked if there was anything wrong with the bikes we told her that they are too high for people to ride she then told me that there are all different sizes and we picked the wrong size. She was clearly off her rocker because they were all one size extremely tall.
