After freshening up and relaxing we decided to go out and see the Eiffel Tower light up. We asked the receptionist how to get there and we were on our way. We had to take the metro and walk a little but we were soon able to see it over the trees. We kept walking and made our way to the hill where you could see the tower perfectly. After we took a bunch of pictures we decided to head back to the hotel and find someplace to eat over there. When we got back the café we chose stopped serving food at 11pm and by the time we got there it was way past 11. So we all got some wine and then where hit on by a table of older French men who told us we were beautiful. When they were getting up to leave they came over one more time to say good bye and the guy preceded to give me his phone number and told us to call him tomorrow to go to a club with him. After they left a woman turned around and asked us where we where from. We knew instantly that she was from American. She told us she was from Texas on her honeymoon. It was great to be able to talk with someone that spoke our language. After our chat we went into pay our bill where the bartender gave us the name of a dance club that we had to go to and he told us he would look for us there when he got off work.
But by now we were all extremely tired from traveling all day and hungry and both McDonald’s and KFC were closed so we had to go to the only French restaurant that was still open to get a quick bite to eat. Once we finished our meal we headed back to the hotel to get a good 4 hours of sleep before we had to wake up at 9 to start our sight seeing the next day.
